Library of the Institute


The library of the Institute is closley linked with the general research goals of the Institute. There are 130 German and foreign periodicals and economic journals, plus 70,000 books. Additionally, the economic library collections of Willhelm Roepke as well as of Alfred Kruse are available for display. The library is accessible to the public. It is in the Pohlighaus (Pohligstr.1, 50669 Cologne), on the 1st floor.


Features of the library:

key economic journals ... like e.g.the American Economic Review or the Journal of Economic Perspectives
a large selection of statistic material ... e.g. IMF-statistics, OECD-statisticsor the majority of the publications of the Statitische Bundesamt
a remarkable selection of working papers and magazines on the topics of international trade, developing countries as well as Central and Eastern Europe.

 

Books and journals can be only borrowed for copying purposes or overnight, provided a valid document of identification is deposited with the library supervisor.
