The Institute for Economic Policy is committed to apply its constitutional
economic tradition with the current issues of economic policy to
arrive at its results and policy recommendations. Fields of research
in recent years include the labour market as well as deregulation
and the future of social security in Germany. International topics
of interest are European economic and monetary integration, currency
regimes and international co-ordination of the economic policy,
as well as the debate on globalisation.
